The British fashion market has returned to growth, albeit at a mild pace of only 0.2%, according to new figures from Kantar Worldpanel. Less discounting and more transitional pieces are the reasons behind the growth.
British designer brand Orla Kiely saw sales jump 15.8% to £8.3 million in the year to end of March, with continued success in the Far East, the US market and its handbag range contributing to the growth.
Asos has launched Asos Instant, a same day delivery service for customers in London. The delivery option will cost £12.95 and is expected to roll out in other major cities across the UK in the coming months.
