Acne Studios launches “Showpiece Prototype” collection in NYC

Acne Studios launched on Thursday a new Showpiece Prototype collection of one-of-a-kind pieces that were produced for the fall 2017 collection.
 

The 100-piece collection, launching on September 7, is comprised of handmade bespoke pieces, including a vertical striped four-button topcoat and a leather topcoat. The tailored pieces are available exclusively at Acne’s Madison Avenue in New York City, and will be made available in London, Milan and Paris on September 15, 20 and 26, respectively, to coincide with the cities’ fashion weeks.

The launch of the Showpiece Protoype collection comes one day after the Swedish fashion label opened its first retail location in San Francisco. The new store, which is designed after California’s Golden Gate Bridge, is the label’s second store to open in the state, joining a retail location in Los Angeles.
