FRANKFURT, April 6 (Reuters) - Adidas (ADSG.DE) plans to move further into fashion and aims to raise the share of overall sales to 30 percent from currently 20 percent, management board member Erich Stamminger told Handelsblatt newspaper.

Adidas, the world's second-largest sporting goods maker after Nike (NKE.N), will launch a new fashion line called "Adidas SLVR", pronounced silver, in the next couple of days, Handelsblatt said in an article to be published on Tuesday.

The Adidas brand made about 1.5 billion euros ($2.03 billion) in sales with fashion last year. Group sales, which also include Reebok, came in at 10.8 billion euros in 2008. (Reporting by Eva Kuehnen; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
