Avon Products launches global singing contest

Cosmetics group organises for its 125th anniversary Avon Voices, a singing contest for women worldwide. The PR event has nominated Fergie, Black Eyed Peas singer, as head judge.

The competition will primarily unravel online at AvonVoices.com, where music-lovers can post their singing delights. They have to choose from a selection of songs listed on the site. Secondly, the contest is offering a prize for the best original song which is based on the theme of 'Empowerment', the name of the Avon Foundation that helps women in need to gain their economic independence.

The competition will start on December 1st, also the deadline for submitting applications.
