Chanel's 'Neon Wave' washes over summer makeup

After "Les Indispensables de l'Eté" -- the French luxury label's first Cruise 2017 makeup collection -- Chanel has revealed a "Neon Wave" makeup capsule featuring eyeshadows and nail varnishes.

Chanel's new limited edition "Neon Wave" summer capsule collection brings warm, natural shades with shimmering reflections to eyes, matched with bold bright colors for nails.

Summer will be chic and glamorous for Chanel, with a makeup collection promising shimmering shades and a pop of vibrant color. The capsule comprises four eyeshadows and four neon nail polishes.

The French brand has released four new shades of its soft-textured powder shadow "Ombre Première Poudre" for summer: Pulse, a deep satiny eggplant; Ray, a light pink with platinum reflections; Beat, a copper with gold reflections; and Trance, a khaki with golden reflections. The shades are warm and natural.

In contrast to the eyeshadow shades, "Le Vernis" lands in four bright, neon hues for a fresh and colorful vacay vibe. Chanel's iconic nail polish lands in Magnetic (neon pink), Electric (neon blue), Ultrasonic (neon orange) and Fantastic (neon green).
