Columbia Sportswear and Manchester United launch outdoor collection

Columbia Sportswear and Manchester United launched on Wednesday a new line of outerwear for men, women and children.

 
The Columbia + Manchester United collection consists of 17 jacket and shell styles featuring the Columbia and Manchester United logos. Three key pieces from the collection are the Heatzone 1000 TurboDown Jacket, the OutDry Extreme Diamond Shell and the Barlow Pass 550 TurboDown Quilted Jacket, which all features Columbia’s leading technologies.
 
The Heatzone 1000 TurboDown Jacket is unique for its 900-fill, water-resistant goose down, the OutDry Extreme Diamond Shell is special for its 100% waterproof protection against heavy downpours and the Barlow Pass 550 TurboDown Quilted Jacket is known for its removable faux-fur hood.

“Manchester United and Columbia share a strong heritage focused on our commitment to performance and innovation,” said Joe Boyle, Senior Vice President of Columbia Merchandising and Design. “With this in mind, we designed and developed this technical collection so that the world’s best fans can support their Club while enjoying the outdoors, regardless of the conditions.”
 
The outdoor line is part of the partnership between the outdoor apparel company and the sports team. Manchester United named Columbia its Official Outdoor Apparel Partner in January.
