Spanish designer brand Delpozo is set to open its third standalone store this year. The Madrid-based brand has announced plans to open a new flagship store at The Dubai Mall in September.

The ready-to-wear label founded in 1974 has partnered with Alabbar Enterprises retail operator Symphone Style on the launch.

Symphone Style owns and operates a number of monobrand concepts for brands such as Roland Mouret, Temperley London and Oscar de la Renta, as well as its own chain of retail boutiques titled Symphony.

Delpozo said this partnership will be fundamental for the growth of the brand in the Middle East. Its creative director Josep Font himself will contribute to the store design and the concept will follow the codes already established by the boutiques in Madrid and London.

Delpozo opened its first store in Madrid in 2013 and unveiled a boutique in London’s Sloane Street last year.

“It is an honour for us to open Delpozo’s third flagship store and to partner with a brand that is so well known for its craftsmanship, aesthetics and creativity, which not only fits perfectly in the Middle East but is also perfectly aligned with the artistic vision we have at Symphony,” commented Symphony Style CEO Nicolas Cano.

The 1,450 sq ft store will be located on the ground floor of the new Fashion Avenue extension and will launch with the Autumn Winter 2017 collection.
