Paris's Grand Palais was transformed into the set of science fiction film for the new H&M Studio collection. From backstage and alongside the runway, Paris Modes' Sophie de Champsavin and Natalia Grgona share their impressions on the presentation.

On Wednesday, it was H&M’s turn to close the day of shows in Paris with their studio collection, followed by a star-studded party. The Grand Palais was transformed into a science fiction film set with flying saucers in the center of the stage, which opened and was transformed into a drinks bar at the end of the show.

On the front row were celebrities like Olga Kurylenko, Karolina Kurkova, Solange Knowles, Audrey Tautou, Mark Ronson and Virginie Ledoyen as well as several designers like Alexandre Mattiussi, Alexis Mabille, Humberto Leon who came to discover the latest designs created by the Swedish brand.

Outerwear is the focus with a multitude of pea coats, trenches, and loose, enveloping jackets. Vinyl is found on jackets and skirts. The dungaree is the stand-out piece, knit or in zipped leather with large straps in an aviator style. The knitted jumper is also worn oversize while the lightly draped dresses take over, worn over trousers.

Orange, camel and burgundy definitely look to be the three colors for next winter.

Making the show were all the top models of the moment including Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Constance Jablonski who walked with huge smiles on their faces...
