MAC and Puma tease beauty collaboration

Cosmetics giant MAC has a mysterious collaboration with sportswear label Puma in the pipeline for 2018.

The makeup brand took to Instagram over the weekend to unveil the news of the partnership, posting a video that showcased a new graphic, created from a combination of both brands' logos.

The cryptic caption reads: "Your favourite hues take a big step in a whole new direction! Stay tuned for a kickin' collaboration, coming soon." However, with no further details released, beauty fans will be left to speculate about what the unexpected collaboration might entail.

Neither brand is a stranger to collaborating -- MAC has teamed up with hip hop star Nicki Minaj, singer Mariah Carey and Korean fashion design duo Steve J. & Yoni P. over the past 18 months, and the company has previously worked with Caitlyn Jenner, Ellie Goulding and Ariana Grande on makeup pieces or collections. Meanwhile Puma has hit the headlines over the past year for its design projects with big names such as Selena Gomez, Rihanna and The Weeknd.
