NYFW: First Stage lineup is revealed with over 20 participating designers

IMG on Friday announced the first group of designers participating in the first NYFW: First Stage from Thursday, September 7 to Monday, September 10.

 
The international designer showcase, which was first announced in June, will feature international designers that are presenting collections at NYFW for the first time and hail from countries such as Sri Lanka, Portugal, Austria and Cape Verde.
 
The participants include womenswear designers, Nina Tiari, Bella Ivory, Cindy Monteiro, David Ferreira, Irina Vitjaz, Kur, Vaishali S and Runa Ray, and multicategory designers Talisha White, Galtiscopio, Indonesian Diversity, Sechs Element and Just in Case.

Sechs Element of China and Indonesian Diversity will show a combined number of 13 designers that specialize in womenswear, menswear and accessories and are based in the US, London, Russia, China and Indonesia.
 
The designers will showcase their collections at The Gallery at Dream Downtown in Chelsea.
