Housman brings several years of leadership and retail experience to the Native team. He led Lululemon’s expansion in Australia, most recently serving as VP & GM, Australia & New Zealand. He joined the company in 2009 as a Senior Financial Analyst, and served in numerous roles during his tenure in e-commerce and global initiatives.

As President of Native Shoes, Housman succeeds Darren Hawrish, who served as President over the last four years. Hawrish will remain with the company in an advisory position on the Beast Free Board of Directors.

Founded in Vancouver in 2009, Native Shoes is a global footwear brand that creates accessible silhouettes, including its signature Future Classics style. The company cites its Beast Free initiative as an integral part of its DNA. PETA awarded Native Shoes the PETA Approved Vegan certification that, along with Beast Free, means respecting animals and humans equally.
