O My Bag opens flagship store in Amsterdam

On Friday 15 December, Amsterdam-based bag and accessories label O My Bag opened a new flagship store in Amsterdam. The shop is located at Ceintuurbaan 117 in the city’s De Pijp neighborhood.

O My Bag announced the new store on Instagram, captioning: “WE ARE OPEN! Our Flagshipstore is open!” In addition to the 60 square meter shopping space, the new building also houses the brand’s 80 square meter headquarters.

O My Bag offers bag and accessories collections for men and women. The eco-friendly label is produced in Kolkata, India.

The new flagship store is designed in a modern fashion with yet warm colors and wood. The brand told FashionNetwork.com that it is happy to be able to tell its story in such an environment with elements explaining the social and eco-friendly purpose of the brand. 

On the choice to open the new flagship store in Amsterdam, the brand commented that the company started in Amsterdam and has always been headquartered in the Dutch capital, which made it a logical step.

With the new store addition, the seven-year old brand, founded by Paulien Wesselink, currently operates two stand-alone stores in the Netherlands, in Amsterdam and The Hague. Additionally, O My Bag is available via a number of retailers across the Netherlands and in Europe, USA, Canada, and soon Japan. Via its web shop, O My Bag also offers worldwide shipping.
