From 5th March, Guillaume Motte will start in the role of President Europe and Middle East for French selective perfumery retailer Sephora. He succeeds Stephan Borchert, who worked for two years in this position, and will next take charge of optics group GrandVision.

Guillaume Motte is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale in Paris, and has a master's degree in Economics from Cambridge University. Since 2015, he was the CEO of French menswear retailer Celio, while from 2011 to 2015 he was the President and CEO of another French fashion chain, Jennyfer.

Motte's career, and his wealth of experience in retail distribution - he has also worked for electronics and book retailer FNAC - "will be great assets in leading Sephora's omni-channel business in Europe and the Middle East to new heights," said Chris de Lapuente, CEO of Sephora worldwide.
