Now a permanent fixture on ShowroomPrivé, the French event sales portal's brand IRL will launch a womenswear plus size capsule collection -- #curveIRL -- from October.

The capsule is comprised of some 50 pieces, with 19 euro t-shirts and 79 euro coats, as well as blouses priced at 29 euros and trousers for 35 euros. And -- if it's a success -- the line has the potential to remain permanently on the website; much like IRL, which launched in 2015 for a limited time, before it became a permanent collection the following year.

Marking its plus-size debut, Showroomprivé has called upon a well-known face to most plus size shoppers -- model, Clémentine Desseaux. The author of the blog, BonjourClem, and co-founder of the AllWomanProject will front the new CurveIRL collection campaign.

IRL currently boasts a range of more than 600 pieces per season, to which it adds different capsules such as activewear (MoveIRL), jewellery (ShineIRL) and PetiteIRL, for shoppers that stand less than 1.6 metres tall.

After having achieved a 21.9% increase in sales, to 540 million euros in 2016, ShowroomPrivé is targeting revenues of 690 to 720 million for 2017. In the first half of 2017, sales increased by 27.4% to 306 million euros.
