Sonia Rykiel revives e-shop

Sonia Rykiel’s new website is online. It’s big news for the Parisian house - its e-commerce now back up and running throughout Europe. The e-shop, which is operated by The Other Store (which manages e-commerce for Thank you, Claudie Pierlot, The Tanner, etc.), will also soon deliver to the USA and Asia.

Put on hold following its acquisition by First Heritage Brands (formerly Fung Brands) in 2012, the e-commerce channel is a new area of development for Sonia Rykiel, which plans on several simultaneous physical openings worldwide, particularly for its younger line, Sonia By Sonia Rykiel.

“With a responsive design, the site will also offer new cross-channel features that allow users to reserve products in physical stores directly from the site," said the house, which appealed to the design and web marketing pros at the London agency Wednesday to design the site, which places a heavy emphasis on brand content.
