Supra names Weil new Brand Director for EMEA

Supra footwear announced the appointment of Sascha Weil for the position of Brand Director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA). In his new role, Weil will be responsible for further growing the brand.

Weil has strong European sector experience. Before Supra, Weil was the General Manager of Amsterdam-based lifestyle brand Buddha to Buddha. He was at the company for four years.  And prior to that, he worked at O’Neill for 11 years. At the surf and lifestyle brand, Weil served as the EMEA Marketing Manager.

In a press release, he said of his new job: “I couldn’t be more thrilled than to join the Supra team, an iconic brand with values that I share. We will bring Supra to its full potential the next period and I’ll enjoy the ride.”

Supra footwear is a global skate lifestyle brand, founded in Southern California in 2006. The brand operates flagship stores in Santa Monica, New York City, Mexico City, Paris, and Tokyo and distributes to over 60 countries worldwide through an exclusive network of retail shops and high-end boutiques. 

In 2015 K-Swiss Global Brands (KSGB) acquired it, adding to KSGB’s portfolio that includes K-Swiss, Palladium Boots, PLDM shoes, OTZ shoes and Kr3w denim.
