Tiffany & Co. planning a gala opening for its Paris flagship

Published

Tiffany & Co.'s new 976-square-meter Paris flagship at number 62 Champs-Elysées is also the brand's most beautiful store in Paris. This new prestigious address will soon be feted in style with a large gala scheduled for June 10 as the flagship's official inauguration.

This new store with exceptional features is the fourth Parisian store of the legendary jeweler, immortalized by Marilyn Monroe in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

"While the three smaller stores in Paris have been a great success, the opening of the store on the Champs-Elysées is the ultimate symbol of Tiffany’s positioning as an international luxury brand," said Frédéric Cumenal, president of Tiffany & Co.

Tiffany & Co. took its first step on French soil in 1868 when the American company opened its first store there.

For the brand, this dream location on the Champs-Elysées "anchors Tiffany & Co. at an international level, in the heart of a city that draws people from around the world, especially for shopping."

At the Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1867, Tiffany & Co. was the first U.S. company to be recognized for its excellent craftsmanship in silver.

In 1999, Tiffany returned to Paris and opened a store on the Rue de la Paix.
