UBM names Lucy Dimes the CEO of the EMEA region

UBM plc this week announced the appointment of Lucy Dimes as CEO of UBM EMEA, effective October 16, 2017.

Dimes, who will also join the B2B events organizer’s Executive Committee, joins the company from Fujitsu, where she served as Chief Executive of the UK & Ireland. She also spent over 15 years at BT, serving in numerous leading positions such as Global VP and Managing Director of the BT/HP Strategic Alliance, worked at Alcatel-Lucent, Equiniti and Berendsen plc.
 
At UBM, Dimes will focus on accelerating and implementing the Events First strategy.
