UK's Fashion Scout opens for SS16 applications

Fashion Scout, the UK organisation that has championed creative design talent for 18 seasons so far, has opened its application process for SS16.

Designers can apply for catwalk shows, installations, presentations, London exhibition and Paris showroom, as well as for the Merit Award and Ones to Watch. A panel of industry experts, including Sara Maino, Hilary Alexander and Jessica Bumpus, will choose the designers who will receive backing. The Merit Award, for example, is worth £25,000 over three seasons.

Among the designers who have previously received backing from fashion Scout are Peter Pilotto, Felder Felder, David Koma, William Tempest, Eudon Choi, Pam Hogg, Fyodor Golan, Craig Lawrence, Baartmans and Siegel, Agi & Sam and, most recently, Phoebe English, Xiao Li, Yifang Wan and Gyo Yuni Kimchoe.
