UK's Russell & Bromley signs deal for new Manchester store

UK accessories and footwear brand Russell & Bromley has signed a deal with intu, the owner and manager of UK prime regional shopping centres. Russell & Bromley inked a 10-year lease for a store at Manchester's Trafford Centre.

The Trafford Centre store will sell women's shoes and accessories, as well as men's and kids' shoes. It measures 2,630 sqft. and is Russell & Bromley's first store with intu.

Julian Wilkinson, regional director of intu, said: “In the RetailVision Rankings, Manchester was the top retail destination outside London and intu Trafford Centre was the top shopping centre outside the capital. This means we can attract well known retailers drawn by our annual footfall of over 30 million, and 6.2 million catchment. Russell & Bromley continues our focus on driving this prime asset and adding to the list of high quality lettings at the centre.”

Intu currently has a £1.3bn development pipeline in the UK over the next 10 years to enhance customers’ shopping experiences.
