Universal Standard specializes in women’s plus-size apparel with its pieces available in sizes 10-28. Now, the New York-based e-commerce site will join retailers such as Asos and Torrid in launching jewelry specifically made for larger sizes.

Universal Standard’s first jewelry collection will be made of six pieces, with a small range of rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces, all rendered in silver. Prices for the jewelry collection range from $40 for a ring to $70 for a pendant necklace. The pieces will go on sale exclusively on Universal Standard’s online shop on July 11.

The plus-sized retailer expanded its clothing offerings earlier this year as well with its Universal Fit Library (UFL) program. Launched in April, the UFL items allow customers to swap already purchased pieces for a different size if their weight fluctuates.

Polina Veksler and Alexandra Waldman founded Universal Standard with the aim of offering stylish clothing for plus-sized women. The New York-based retailer carries sizes 10-28 at accessible prices. In addition to its online shop, the label also runs an appointment-only showroom in New York City.
