Interior Trends: A new desire for distraction! - Fall/Winter 2016-17 (Carlin Creative Trend Bureau)

Between extravagance and elegance, the contemporary style rediscovers the principle of pleasure, which lives fully for the present moment. Letting go is as a release from the rationality inflicted and answers to our expectations of frivolousness.

A lighter way of life is the purpose: codes of the classic home encounter a fanciful world. Inspired by the Belle Epoque, timeless feminine looks (such as pleating, lace and tufting) are revamped and dreamed up in a quirky version.

Pleats and gathers are placed on patterns on textile for an oscillating effect between tradition and innovation. Frivolousness is light and modern thanks to the instilled graphical effects.

Tufting becomes revolutionary and gets in tune with the times. The numeric 3D effect transforms them for an optical illusion all in volume, created by thin lines and subtle shades.

Contrasting colors are applied in accents, with a core range of reddish darks.  Femininity is embodied both with shapes and colors, bringing a well-being around pleasure and seduction in the house.
