Russia's Moscow Kremlin Museums are hosting a retrospective exhibition of Bulgari creations through January 13, 2019.

"Tribute to Femininity," which opened Friday, features more than 500 jewelry creations dating from the late 19th century to the 1990s, charting the evolution of the brand's style and celebrating the charismatic women inseparably linked with the history of the Bulgari brand.

From Friday, September 7, Moscow Kremlin Museums will be showcasing more than 500 Bulgari jewelry creations, exploring the brand's evolving style over more than a century.

The Italian luxury brand's creativity, craftsmanship and exceptional stones will be on show in the exhibition halls of the Assumption Belfry and the Patriarch's Palace, where Bulgari has opened up its archives for visitors to discover exclusive pieces, never before seen on public display.

As well as chronicling the changing style of the Bulgari brand and its most spectacular creations, the show also celebrates some of the brand's ambassadors, exploring the evolving taste and style of women through the decades.

Highlights include a 1930s tiara featuring aquamarines and diamonds, worn by Beatriz of Spain, and a set of platinum pieces set with diamonds, also dating from the 1930s.

The exhibition features an impressive collection of Bulgari jewelry owned by the actress Elizabeth Taylor, as well as pieces from the collections of Anna Magnani, Gina Lollobrigida and Anita Ekberg. Bulgari also accompanies its creations with photographs celebrating the femininity and style of the women who wore them.

"Bulgari. Tribute to Femininity. Magnificent Roman Jewels" runs September 7, 2018, to January 13, 2019, at The Moscow Kremlin Museums, Russia.
