Fashion and sport have long built successful partnerships and the trend (hopefully) continues with two new ones to report: SoccerBible with Farah plus Briston Watches with Formula 3 driver Bart Horsten.

With the European Championships beginning early next month, SoccerBible magazine and Farah have created the ‘Unity’ capsule collection aimed at “championing the eclectic nature of football”.

The collection, which “pops with expressive colour”, is inspired by many nuances of European countries and each piece looks to mix football and fashion “with a subtle and considered approach” Meanwhile, the collection “looks to add to the celebration and bring out the beauty and colour that runs deep across a number of nations that will be taking to the stage through the international football scene”.

Bespoke pieces in the collection have been inspired by the nations of Scotland, France, Belgium, Italy, England, Germany, Ireland and Wales and include “triumphant tartan, enigmatic pinstripes, French cuisine -- it’s a multitude of flavours” and is being modelled by music artists Everyone You Know.

“The collection has been designed to fit an open mind that appreciates cultures. It’s about acceptance, crossing borders and saying it’s ok to be French and wear something inspired by Italy. It’s all about Unity and the memories that can be created as we come together and bask in a summers’ tournament”, said SoccerBible.

Also big on collaborations are high-end watches and motor racing so Time and More UK is to partner with BRDC British F3 driver Bart Horsten, in conjunction with Briston Watches, for the upcoming 2021 season.

Briston Watches branding will be a prominent feature on Horsten’s race suit, helmet and Hitech GP British F3 car. He will also wear the Briston Clubmaster Traveler Worldtime watch in steel and blue, which is limited to only 500 pieces worldwide.

The partnership will see the brand supporting Bart during the next steps of his racing career, ultimately seeking a Formula 1 grid spot. In 2021, Horsten returns for his second season in BRDC British F3 and compete with Hitech GP, one of the most respected teams outside F1, we’re told.
