Lourdes Leon keeps it natural in Converse x MadeMe campaign

New York fashion label, MadeMe, has shared the first shots from the brand's Converse collab campaign on Instagram. Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon -- more commonly known as Lourdes Leon -- models pieces from the collection rocking a confident, natural style.

Lourdes Leon joins the long list of celebrity kids trying their hand and modeling, walking runways and starring in campaigns for some of the world's most prestigious labels. Here, however, Madonna's daughter seems to have decided to take a stand against traditional female beauty norms, proudly showing off her body hair in the campaign shots.

The first campaign pictures shared by MadeMe show Lourdes Leon in various poses, modeling pieces from the brand's collaboration with Converse. She is notably photographed with her arms in the air, revealing her underarm hair. Judging by the Instagram comments from the New York label's followers, the shots appear to have gone down well with fans.

Out from May 24, the Converse x MadeMe collection celebrates 1990s style with its cuts and colors. Pieces include Bermuda shorts, wide-leg pants, crop tops, sweaters and sneakers.

This isn't the first time that Lourdes Leon has starred in a campaign for a major global brand. Indeed, the rising star previously featured in the launch campaign for Stella McCartney's "POP" fragrance.
