The fall/winter 2018-2019 menswear shows kicked off in London, January 6, and will now head to Milan and Paris, before landing in New York in February. The event gives male models -- often less famous than their female counterparts -- their turn in the spotlight, as they light up the runways and showcase the upcoming season's trends. Here are three of the most eagerly awaited male models making catwalk appearances this menswear month.

Finnlay Davis, catwalk king

In just three years, Irish model Finnlay Davis has become a firm favorite among designers, walking for the biggest fashion houses in the business each season. The model, who celebrates his 20th birthday in February, is likely to be a ubiquitous face once again at the menswear shows. Last season, during the spring/summer 2018 shows, the Irish model walked in 23 different shows, including opening appearances for E. Tautz and Berthold. In total, during the last two years, he has featured in more than 100 shows (Dior Homme, Gucci, Fendi, Hermès, Loewe, Louis Vuitton).

Paul Hameline, model of the year

French model Paul Hameline has won over the fashion world with his looks and charisma. At the end of 2017, the upcoming model was crowned with the prestigious Model of the Year title by specialist site Models.com. After walking for around a dozen labels during the spring/summer 2018 shows (compared with 23 for Finnlay Davis), the recent award could help the model gain serious ground this season. Paul Hameline has previously walked for Lacoste, Saint Laurent, Coach, Fendi, Prada and Vetements.

Presley Gerber, rising star?

Like his sister Kaia -- who made her catwalk debut in 2017 -- Presley Gerber is following in the footsteps of his supermodel mother, Cindy Crawford, and is starting to make his name in the worlds of fashion and modeling. While he may not have caused as much of a stir as his sister, 18-year-old Presley Gerber is slowly but surely carving out a place for himself in the industry, walking the runway for major labels since 2016. He has starred in shows for Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana, Zadig & Voltaire, Emporio Armani, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger. Presley Gerber is likely to add to this already impressive experience at the upcoming menswear weeks.
