Pottery Barn Kids launches capsule with Margherita Missoni

Pottery Barn Kids launched on Thursday the Margherita Missoni for Pottery Barn Kids collection, an exclusive collaboration collection with Margherita Kids founder and Missoni family member Margherita Maccapani Missoni Amos.

 
The Margherita Missoni for Pottery Barn Kids capsule collection is comprised of home décor for nursery, bedrooms and playrooms including bedding, furniture, decorative accessories, wall décor, lighting and essentials for nursery and new parents. The 50-piece capsule is Margherita’s first foray into children’s home furnishings.
 
Inspired by the playful spirit of childhood, Margherita’s sons’ nurseries, and her own childhood keepsakes, Margherita Missoni for Pottery Barn Kids features bright colors, bold patterns and unique accents such as embroidery, pom poms, and fringe that are seen on standout pieces like the Daisy Pouf, Daisy Mirror and Daisy Pom Pom Quilt.

“Collaborating with Pottery Barn Kids was such a joy and a natural fit for me, as it brought together playful design and quality craftsmanship to create a beautiful collection for kids and baby,” said designer Margherita Maccapani Missoni Amos. “The collection is comfortable, colorful, and it evokes the same sense of freedom I feel when dressing myself and my children – mixing, matching and creating something that is unique to your own sense of style.”
 
The designer joined the Missoni creative team as the Designer of Accessories, Swim, and Missoni Girls before launching Margherita Kids in March 2015. She was inspired to launch the collection following the birth of her two sons. Born in Northern Italy, Margherita is the eldest daughter of Angela Missoni, the Creative Director of Missoni, and the granddaughter of the house’s founders.
 
The Margherita Missoni for Pottery Barn Kids collection is available online on the Pottery Barn Kids website, and it will launch at Pottery Barn Kids stores on January 20. Prices range from $19 to $399.
