Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James makes UK launch

British fans of Reese Witherspoon’s feminine and vintage-inspired fashion brand Draper James can now shop the label in the UK on Net-A-Porter.

Launching with an exclusive capsule collection of 21 pieces, Draper James celebrates “the charm and grace of the American South”. Gingham is introduced in cheerful maxi and poplin dresses and combined will full skirts in the form of an off-the-shoulder top, while printed mid-length dresses give a nod to vintage Americana.

Modern touches are added via fun prints, like pink flamingos and saccharine pineapples in a yellow, green, pink and light blue combination.

Priced between £182 for a pair of high-rise printed shorts to £446 for a delicate blue and white gingham and lace dress, the collection also includes accessories like a straw tote.

Speaking about the capsule collection earlier, actress Reese Witherspoon said: “The inspiration was a summer garden party, with all the dresses you end up buying in the summer to go to weddings and in the South to go to steeple chases."
