From September 19 to 21, the six Première Vision events in Paris will feature 1,964 exhibitors, of which 143 new entries, at the French capital’s Villepinte exhibition centre. This edition will be marked by the launch of the show’s online marketplace, and by a stronger focus on sportswear manufacturers.

Première Vision’s various sections will feature a total of 1,964 exhibitors - Première Vision Paris

The fashion industry's supply chain event will introduce a new, cross-sectional category called Sport & Tech, focusing on tech fabrics and sportswear solutions, grouping together about 700 exhibitors. It will also put a special emphasis on the sportswear experts among the fabric manufacturers at PV Fabrics (800 exhibitors in total), the yarn producers at PV Yarns (63), the tanneries at PV Leather (294), the textile designers at PV Designs (242), the accessory specialists at PV Accessories (332) and the garment manufacturers at PV Manufacturing (231). The former Tech Focus forum has been re-labelled Sport & Tech, and its theme will be active mobility, also the topic of a series of conferences.

The PV Leather section in hall 3, showcasing leather apparel and footwear manufacturers, has been expanded with the introduction of the Leather Manufacturing section, with 21 exhibitors and a specific programme of workshops and conferences. The Sourcing Connection section, dedicated to Asia-Pacific sourcing, will host 56 companies from the region, all of them certified by international certification agency Bureau Veritas.

Eco-responsible textiles will be showcased at the Smart Square section, doubling its size this edition to host 25 exhibitors, offering a range of alternative materials for the fashion industry. Within this section, the Smart Materials area will focus on fabrics, leather, yarns, dyes and printing systems, while specialists in environmentally friendly solutions will exhibit at the Smart Service area. There will also be a reference ‘library’ on eco-responsible materials, the Smart Wardrobe exhibition with ten sustainably sourced fashion products and a series of conferences and presentations.

Portugal will be the guest of honour at this edition of PV Paris - Première Vision Paris

Portugal will be the guest of honour of this edition of Première Vision. There will be a forum dedicated to Portuguese textile expertise, and the country will be represented by 70 exhibitors altogether, 14 of them in the PV Manufacturing section. “A nearby partner that is competent, competitive and reliable,” said Première Vision, underlining Portugal’s “rapid response capability for extremely small production runs.”

The event’s forthcoming edition will also feature the official launch of Première Vision’s online marketplace. It will initially be open only to fabric manufacturers, enabling the latter to offer their product samples to international buyers. In future, the marketplace will extend to the event’s other sections, and also allow larger orders to be placed through it.
