Steve Madden comes to Malaysia with new Kuala Lumpur store

Steve Madden has made its way to Malaysia, opening its newest store in Kuala Lumpur's Mid Valley Megamall.

Located on the mall's ground floor, the new boutique offers a range of Steve Madden shoes and accessories, highlighting the label's women's Holiday 2018 collection. The store's interior design features wood, steel and concrete accents, as well as urban-inspired decor born of the label's newest retail design concept. 

The Kuala Lumpur boutique marks the second store launched by the label in partnership with luxury and lifestyle retail group Valiram, following the opening of a Steve Madden retail location in Singapore's Takashi­maya Shopping Centre.

According to its website, the Mid Valley Megamall houses over 400 retailers in twelve categories, as well as office spaces and hotels. In addition to Steve Madden, the megamall also offers Swarovski, Timberland, Topshop, Topman, Uniqlo and Zara, among other labels. 

This expansion comes as Steve Madden rides a wave of success from its third quarter of 2018, making major progress in its retail segment and raking in net sales of $458.5 million. 

Earlier this year in October, the label also expanded in Europe, opening its first Portuguese store in Lisbon's Príncipe Real neighborhood.
