British premium brand Ted Baker has unveiled an advertising campaign that will run on the sides of buses, taxis and underground stations across London, as well as in print publications, online and social media, this month.

Celebrating 30 years since the brand opened its first store in Glasgow in 1988, this is Ted Baker’s first ever advertising campaign.

The ads will showcase the label’s classic women’s wrap coat, a style that has been reinvented as part of the Ted Baker collection for ten years. In particular, it will highlight a limited- edition ivory colourway, which will be available for purchase online in the UK and with selected stockists in the US. A pair of pink sunglasses are scribbled on the images in reference to the brand’s playful spirit.

“Ted’s never taken the expected route in the last 30 years, and nothing’s going to change that for the next 30 years - and beyond!,” said founder Ray Kelvin.

“He’s always trying to surprise and delight his customers, caring deeply for them with one hand, and constantly provoking them with the other, and he believes this campaign does exactly that, blending modern photography with his mischievous sense of humour. Ted knows the world is changing, and he’s evolving with it, but he’s never going to lose sight of doing things his own way. Here’s to the future!”

Running alongside the campaign will be a competition giving customers the opportunity to win a limited-edition coat. The raffle-style competition will open to the public on 30 November.
