Andre 3000, who’s real name is Andre Benjamin, will appear in the Tretorn fall 2017 campaign and he will design a capsule collection to launch in 2018.

One half of the rap duo Outkast, Andre 3000 has been considered one of the stylish men in hip-hop. He stood out for his unique, effortless style and fashion sense at a time where Kanye West wore Louis Vuitton backpacks and Bape hoodies and Pharrell carried Goyard luggage.

Benjamin had a clothing line with Outkast partner Big Boi in 2008, and he launched his own clothing line Benjamin Bixby years later. He also starred in Gilette commercials with Adrien Brody and Gael García Bernal.

Tretorn this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of its Nylite sneaker. The company will launch a global marketing campaign to celebrate the iconic style, featuring influencers and celebrities including Benjamin.

Puma sold Tretorn to Authentic Brands Group in 2015, and the company entered a partnership with Marc Fisher to expand the Tretorn brand globally. Fisher designed a collection for Tretorn as well, which launched in fall 2016. Tretorn also celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2016 with a new footwear collection and marketing campaign.
